The area around the villa

The villa is located just next to the village “Atsipopoulo”, a well known village which has grown up fast in last 10 years and now is actually a small town and a suburb of Rethymno city.

There is nothing that you cannot find in Atsipopoulo nowadays, as it has all kinds of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, many restaurants and services. The spot of the villa is ideal for people who want a quiet place to relax but to be close to everything. 

Furthermore, it is a great base for making excursions around Crete as the main national road is only 2 minutes away.

Rethymno's old city is located beneath the walls of its sleepless guard the Venetian Fortezza which was built in the 14th Century and preserves a vivid medieval renaissance feeling.
